Interested in adopting? Apply for me! Hamlet is coming to Red Dog Farm on Monday, August 31st from Burlington, NC animal control. We will post new pictures once he is here, but these were sent to us from the nice people in Burlington who have been caring for him. They tell us that Hamlet is very friendly and likes to be petted and fed treats by hand. We will update Hamlets bio as soon as he arrives. Update - What a cutie! He is a very social little man. Hamlet comes when called and loves to have his ears scratched. If you rub his belly he will roll over! He will be quite large when full grown though, so his adopter needs to be ready for a large, fun, smart pet! Hamlet is not afraid of dogs and interacts nicely with goats and donkeys. Update - Hamlet was adopted but needs to be rehomed because he is able to escape from his pen in his adoptive home. Pigs are very strong and need sturdy fencing. If you have strong fencing and are interested in adopting Hamlet, please apply online. There is no adoption fee for Hamlet. Note - Hamlet is actually a Landrace pig that will eventually weigh 500 pounds. He is listed as a pot belly until his real breed shows up as an option. We apologize for the confusion.
