Education: High School Diploma required, 2 year Technical Degree in Industrial system technology or Manufacturing Technology


RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Operate equipment at optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair problems and identify root cause
• Calibrate equipment
• Train associates on equipment
• Ensure that equipment is maintained
• Suggest process, quality, and efficiency or safety improvements
• Create and maintain line data
• Gain a thorough understanding of quality for the product and being capable of monitoring and adjusting process in a timely manner to assure good quality is maintained.
• Be capable and willing to cross train into other cell positions

REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum of high school diploma with work experience; prefer 2 year technical degree in Industrial System Technology or Manufacturing Technology.
• Good verbal/written communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of all electronic and PLC based applications in an industrial environment is a plus but not required.
• Must be computer literate.
• Ability and willingness to learn and apply new technologies and management concepts.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.
• Must have strong general mechanical skills.
• Must be able to concentrate in a busy work environment and be detail-oriented in order to main a high level of quality, keep accurate accounts of production, keep production on schedule, and maintain a safe work environment.
• Must be able to stand throughout an eight or ten hour day.
