Although, things got a bit rough for Nitro at one point in his life, Nitro is one lucky boy!!! As the result of being hit by a car, he sustained some very serious injuries, including a completely broken jaw and a broken pelvis. Unfortunately, his owners could not afford his vet care, and signed him over to a vet clinic. Luckily, Nitro stole the heart of a very kind veterinarian. Over several months, she was able to fix his jaw and pelvis. At one point, Nitro's jaw was actually wired back into place!! Now Nitro is healed, but his jaw is a bit crooked and always will be. Nevertheless, he can eat just fine!!! Nitro gets along with other dogs, after he gets to know them. Nitro is a very loving dog with humans (especially women), and loves to give kisses. His original family had children, and he did well with them. A fenced in yard is required to adopt Nitro, and an adoption fee will apply. Please contact us if you have room in your heart and home for Nitro!!
