The story of Hannah is truly an amazing adventure. One day she was being taken by her owner to the shelter, with her six newborn kittens. An AARF volunteer encountered them there and whisked them away from certain death to join the AARF crew. Upon arrival at the AARF house, and while being transported to a car, the cage in which they were carried broke and fell apart in the street and the mother cat escaped, leaving her unweaned kittens behind. Days and nights of searching were to no avail and the kittens were bottled fed and nurtured in the meantime. About 2 1/2 weeks later, a man appeared at the front door of the AARF house and in his arms was....Hannah!!! She had managed to travel all the way from Stratford Rd. to Lewisville (!!) to the home from which she originally came, probably in desperate search for her babies. It took all that time to get there and she was thin and frightened. What a wonderfull sight for all of us, though. Hannah has been reunited with her babies and is ready for adoption. Please make room for this incredible and unique little girl who has certainly demonstrated her loyalty, love and maternal instinct to the fullest. She deserves the best.
